CSCS Construction Skills Certification Scheme.
This scheme allows skilled tradespeople, including traditional skilled heritage craftspeople, to gain recognition for their skills and knowledge.


Two main routes to obtaining CSCS cards are:

Experienced Worker route "open until September 2010" The candidate must be able to produce a portfolio of evidence showing appropriate work within the sector craft area required.

Achievement of NVQ level 3 heritage skills "appropriate strand" This is gained via formal external assessment of work on site.
Assessors will be registered with a C-Skills accredited centre and will carry out the work on your sites.
