Glenn has run his own construction company in the past and is sensitive to the needs of the sector, especially the SMEs amongst us. This is reflected in the flexible approach taken through the training and development programmes supported by HCA.
Glenn's recent background is 24 years in education and training within the construction sector. He has worked in the British Standards Institution, Large training providers and as head of division in FE, immediately prior to starting HCA in 2011.
Glenn gained his passion for our built heritage when working as a carpenter and joiner, starting some 40 years ago in rural Yorkshire.

Gary has been involved in construction since 1981, beginning as a junior apprentice in stone masonry. He has had a successful career as a self -employed stone mason, working on church refurbishments, barn conversions, house building, and restoration work.
Gary has qualifications in :- Heritage skills masonry, brickwork and earthen structures NVQ level 3. Trowel Occupations NVQ level 3. Advanced craft bricklaying. NVQ level 4 PTTLS. Stone carving and design level 2. Assessor Award NVQ level 3.
Gary has had broad experience of teaching and lecturing trowel occupations and heritage work, and is currently delivering Nationally significant programmes for Masonry within her Majesties prisons.
